10TH Anniversary - Origin Of Symmetry - Series - FINAL
-----------------------
INFO about my MICRO CUTS cover:

I decided not to record Micro cuts again since I already did it sometime ago (before I recorded this series)
the way I play it here is still accurate to the way I play it nowadays. This video still has my old camera angle but the sound is good ;)

Hello YouTube

This is my cover of Muse their song "Citizen Erased" it is a song from the album "Origin Of Symmetry"
This cover is part of a Mini-series I recorded to celibrate the 10th Anniversary of Origin Of Symmetry (it got released 10 years ago)
You're viewing part 8 of the series. To view part 7 please click corresponding annotation on the top left of your screen.
Sadly enough this is the final part of this cover series. The FINAL if you will :)
I wanted this song to be uploaded to go along with Muse performing at Leeds (which is tonight :D 26th August)

I decided to play along to the studio version of the song :) Because this is one of my favorite MUSE songs ever. and it shows how Matthew , Dom and Chris are masters of their instruments and using them in different tempo's and context. It's one of those songs that is already a rainbow in studio form but a DOUBLE RAINBOW in LIVE form (GET IT LOL ? :D)
Don't worry this may be my last cover from this series but other covers are heading your way.

Gear used:

Line 6 Pod XT Live
Line 6 Variax
Laney Pro Tube 50 Lead (Head)
London City (Cab)

Recorded with a Shure SM57 Mic'd up before my cab.

Please leave a comment and a thumbs up
Please subscribe (if you havn't already) if you like my videos.
It helps me out alot! :)

Cheers

  • Amazing :D , Just one cuestion ¿This song its hard to play? ._.

  • @DANIEL117nm Thanks, the song is one of the harder songs to play by Muse ;) It involves alot of changes and alot of different guitar techniques. don't forget that I change the sound effects with my feet (and it's alot of effect changes) ;) but practice makes perfect :D

  • AWESOME!!!<3 where are your pickups?

  • @Co0kieDealerr Thank you :) It's a Line 6 Variax Guitar, it replicates the sound about every guitar out there (including pickups) so it doesn't need pickups for itself :D

  • so many hidden talented musician out there. such as him

  • @kikiwew Cheers :)

  • @DANIEL117nm Fair play that is fantastic, well done!

  • Marvelous. You're really talented. Are you in a band? Write any of your stuff? Love to hear some, because this song involves such a massive range of skills and you do it all perfectly.

  • Man you nailed that solo, i would like to know how you mute the strings when you're playing it, could you send me a message with some info? :)
