  • The original horse whisperer.

A white woman alone with a chinaman? Scandalous for the time.

  • I recall the very day this aired here in beautiful Toronto,Cda.

I went on to study the White Crane System ...I was 13..I am now 49.

It has taken me half a lifetime to master the system.

Thank-you David...I met you twice as you enjoy T.O.

Your words really helped...I will go from here and...well...beyond.

  • Watto do with the money?get some hooker fool

  • @highlandsh That's one thing that bothers me with the show. How everyone calls him "Chinaman" when he looks nothing like one, least not from what I can see. His parents, or at least father, was an american. And to me he looks like most western or european folks.

    Good show though

  • oh come on! "I'm so good I don't even work for money!" LOL

  • ooh that lady's got her eyes on him.....she wants a peice a that! LOL

  • @greenfoley I agree. I don't think Carradine looks Asian at all, rather I also think he look (or should I say looked) white-native american mixed.

  • "There is so much you don't know...and so much you do." I wish a woman would say that about me.

  • one thing i have always thought that sucked about this show was the music!!

  • 6:39 John Saxon!

  • If I were to spot Carradine on the street and never heard about my first impression would probably be the fact that he looks Metis. Metis is a mixed race between the Cree Native American tribe and French or Scottish. I am Metis myself. In fact the Native Americans and the Chinese are related in terms of the high cheek bones and the Natives came to North America from east of Asia through Alaska following the wolly mammoths.

  • Kwai Chang Caine's mother was Chinese and his father American.
