@redfishradical I could not agree more. I guess the fact that his music came from the heart (not some boardroom) did not hurt. I knew he was a good musician but I did not realize all the session work that he had done. The HBO documentary pointed that out. I must learn to appreciate these true musical wizards before they are all gone. Peace

From Aretha & Sinatra to the Beach Boys & Stones & all points between he's been there-in fact was there in the begining, a true architect of rock & roll. There's so much fucking hyperbole today, EVERYONE's a genius, I've heard lady gagme & madonna referred to as musical genius'! Liking someone doesn't make them genius. It's mastery of their art not digital auto-tuning & packaging! Peace!
