I was 10 y/o when this match was first shown on WWF "Championship Wrestling" back in circa 1985. I remember being surprised at Doc Butler's light weight for a so-called "heavyweight" (221 lbs) and even more surprised at Butler's failure to produce a single offensive move...the latter had me questioning for months if Doc even knew how to wrestle.
Excellent Move at the 2:38 mark where Valentine drags Butler, by his head and face to the middle of the ring apron, bending him back over the ropes then begins to punish him with a nice forearm smash across his chest. Then pulls him back again by his face by shoving his fingers into Butlers mouth for added punishment and a second forearm smash. Butler opened himself up as he hung over the ropes, so all could see his great body, then sold the punishment beautifully. Great job Butler.
I work with Doc Butler!

Doc Butler was an excellent jobber. You have to think that in the 60s or early 70s he would have been much more than a jobber.
