i've been watching cavett since the early 70's, his interview "style", tends to be be very "laid back", i.e. ,ask questions, but let the guest(s) be the star of the show, as with ABBA here. Cavett sits back , and lets his guests be as comfortable as possible, esp. being on "american tv". as abba were .

@AORMETALGORE I heartily agree on their beauty, but I take issue with your use of the word "superficial."
They are both hard working professionals with a lot of class, better behaved than just about anyone with their
level of celebrity. So I maintain that their beauty is not superficial, but indicative of their character.

Its a total mystery to me why Dick Cavett had such a big success with his show. Its so unconfortable to watch him. He seems so unconfortable himself. Its probably becayse tv has changed so much since then.

They are, and always will be, amazing. But you can tell at this point they were just so fed up of it all. Can't say I really blame them after 10 years!
