Please STOP with this SLI bullshit! It's normal that high pressure sodium, metal halide and (rarely) mercury vapor lamps cycle when reaching their end of life! Instead bullshitting on paranormal powers "involved in SLI" go and study something about the inner working of these lamps and their ballast!

This started happening to me, SLI I mean, when I was 12 or 13, with the same sets of ligths when I would walk home in the dark. I never talked about it, because i assumed people would think I was nuts. Later, it began to happen everywhere, particularly when I began driving. I called a talk radio show which had a paranormal "expert" on, he wanted to know if I could make it happen psychicly? No. My ex-wife witnessed it and was 100% convnced of its legitamacy. That's it. I just live with it.

It keeps happening to me...and I decided to start looking it up online just now. Do you think it's anything to be afraid of? I'm a bit concerned about a possible negative connotation regarding SLI ..... Maybe I'm just paranoid.

I searched for "light interference," hoping to find a demonstration of Thomas Young's double slit light interference experiment that first demonstrated the wave properties of light. This was the first result, so I clicked on it. Please, someone, rename this video with a less misleading title. As for how I spend my time, I'd say learning about science is a damn good use of it. I'd be very shocked if you could think of a better use of it.

I mean, I understand the skepticism totally, and would agree if I wasn't one of those people who had this and other electronic problems happen all their life. It's not just me noticing it, either, my family and friends still joke about not letting me use their laptops//phones because they'll freeze when I touch them. It's nice to know I'm not the only one.

This happens to me, when I'm distressed or deeep in thought. My ex was able to predict that it would. When I get within 10 feet they come on then about 10 feet away they die. When I was a child I had such a problem with electronics and the radio//tv coming on//changing channels//volume that it'd wake my parents up//scare them. I don't know what it is. And I'm generally skeptical of supernatural//spiritual things.
