They make it look so easy. I guess the key is to get your speed right for when you go off. My bike tends to go in front wheel first on a drop like that and if I'm unlucky I pogo and go over the handlebars...
cheers

Another cool vid Jag. Tell, me, did you guys jump off that drop at 4.09 in your vid (the one with the warning)? We weren't brave enough - just rode over it. Guy at the bike shop said the first week False Teeth openend they had 10 ambulance incidents there!

@stumpy25lbs Paul and John jumped off both drops they were landing about 4ft out and 4ft down but I get very nervous about these kind of drops as they are quite severe. I have done stuff like this in the past but not as high and with softer landings. (plus I always try to keep my wheels on the ground and if you look closley at me "Julian" you should be able to se me do a front wheely down the last steep drop" Very Dodgy"). No Ambulance required this time!!! Cheers Jag

@jag1000uk
sorry to pester you Jag, but is the jump your mate does at 4.13 the biggest drop? Or is it at another time in your video? I just want to gauge how fast I can take it next time 'cos I want to jump it, not just plop off it!
Cheers.

@stumpy25lbs Hi mate no probs, thats the biggest drop off of the 2, there is a small drop about 20m before so I used that as my marker for squaring my self up to ride the drop. Paul and john don't jump this they just drop off very fast "they try to think of it as a curb stone and drop off level" oh and by the way Paul is 60 years of age, how good is he for an oldy lol. Cheers Jag
