Buster and Lucy became friends when both of them worked on the M-G-M lot in the 1940's. Here is their only TV appearance together, on the CBS-TV special "Salute to Stan Laurel" (broadcast nine months to the day after Laurel's death). Dick Van Dyke provides an introduction; Harvey Korman plays the irate cop. The unraveling-newspaper gag is from Keaton's 1921 short "The High Sign." -- Visit us on-line at NotTheKeatonSociety.com

@illnsp08 Same here. They're amazing together and like you, I've been searching for this sketch for a long time ever since I saw a snippet of it in a documentary about Lucille Ball. I keep hoping it will be included on either a Lucy Show DVD release or a Here's Lucy DVD release. Thanks for uploading, NotTheKeatonSociety!

The bit with the gum ball machine is also similar to the one in Two Tars, except in that one, the machine spills the gum balls onto the ground and only Ollie gets busted while pocketing the loot :D
