If it requires brilliant minds and millions of dollars to accomplish what is supposed to have happened naturally, then to me that seems to support(not prove) the idea that there was an intelligence behind the creation of the universe.The second the conditions are set up to get an intended outcome I think it defeats the purpose of nature producing a universe.

During high speed controlled particle collisions, an extremely rare event, on the order of one-in-a-Billion, occurs and a heavy Higgs Boson gets generated.? How heavy is this mass? How is this mass measured? As the mass increases, the speed of light slows. How is this decreased speed of light measured? How is this event recorded? Is a Higgs Boson and the dense singularity of a black hole relatable? Now all you Religious Nuts out there, must agree that Gawd's Boson is worth $10Billion? Oh yeah!

If we find it nothing will change right away, but that doesn't mean looking for it has no applications in the future. When Einstein proved that time could move at different rates in different places it didn't change anything right away, but without that knowledge things like GPS location wouldn't be possible, because his theories are needed to account for the timeshift between things on earth and things in orbit.

Knowledge does come in handy eventually.
