Tom Cruise is fine! Doctors and parents who drug their kids are wrong!... These are the doctors who created Hitler! If you don't believe in Scientology then you are a Nigger!... according to this member and former staff of Scientology who is at peace with himself and live because of his Church of scientology... He can believe whatever he wants to...

  • holy shit he said that to your face?!

I hope you realize the significance of your interview and what he says in this whole series. He has truly let the cat out of the bag!

  • AnonFTLD if this man truly thought he was being racist he wouldn't have said that..

I have been around white people who said things like " I love your regardless of you being black" I had a black friend and he was just as smart as I" .. I didn't feel threatend by him but I was thinking he is so wanted to get the word out that being PC didn't matter.

I thought he was rather bold but it proves that he stands by what he said... and that he was comfortable with me. So I can't be mad at his honesty

  • good interview! love the nod.

  • So he says "It works 100% of the time"

then says "there are some people you can't help"

    So which is it?

  • Well, the belief system is quite fine. A lot of people will believe similar things from other denomination. The problem arises when Churches try to control other people's lives... CoS does that by actually trying to ban psychiatry entirely, and replacing it with their (biased, untested) programs. That's where it becomes dangerous

  • Ok it's called CCHR: Citizens Commission on Human Rights. The man is simply parroting what he has been taught in Scientology. If he thinks that Scientology works for him, I am happy for him and he has that right. But please look at the other side. Many people have been abused in this organization, and they have a right to be heard too.

  • @ANON9000000 all "churches" are nothing more than a place for brainwashing

  • @LindiVid "Scientology makes up their own statistics for everything. They have no proof, just their word and Scientologists like this guy live in a fishbowl being hand fed what CoS wants him to know and his view of the world is what they make for him. " this is probably completely true, but the same can be said about all religions, none actualy have solid proof that their gods are real at all, yet they expect everyone to believe in wat could be nothing more than a lie some person once made up.

  • haha celebrities joining scientology is "validation" THAT's NOT EVEN FUNNY. SHEEP!

  • @theseushobbes you are right in general about science changing to adapt to new facts. the difference is that psychiatry deals with perceptions of human behavior and linking them to absolute scientific facts. then when perceptions of human behavior change, in other words, the moral notions of behavior change, suddenly so called "scientific" facts change to adapt to new social conditions, psychiatrists from the 50s saw the same thing todays psychiatirsts see, but with two different social lenses

  • @chrispollock I'm not an unconditional fan of psychiatry either, but a change of diagnoses doesn't really show that psychiatry is not a science, that their theories are not based on the facts but merely on social trends. Change of diagnosis can also be an effect of scientific progress. Geologists used to teach the world was flat (a long time ago), they don't teach that nowadays; that doesn't prove that geology is simply a matter of taste or fashion, it's rather a sign of progress.

  • @theseushobbes you are right about that. though psychiatry still pretends that is this absolute science when really, their diagnoses change from generation to generation, and therefore, are social, not biological. for example, in the 1950s, housewives who disliked being at home were diagnosed with a mental illness, whereas today, women working outside the home is considered normal. i'd say the only valid diagnoses they have are outright schizophrenia.

  • @chrispollock Well the "facts" Scientologists cite about Psychiatry are pretty dated: Electro-shocks and lobotomy, no one does that anymore (at least not in Western Europe ...).

  • yeah psychiatry can be pretty fucked up. but scientology is a dangerous cult
