  • If you shot George Chuvalo in the face with a shotgun, he would thank you for the massage.

  • @atmoi666 "Foreman, regarded as one of the hardest hitters in boxing history, mauled Chuvalo with a wicked jab and some truly thunderous big punches breaking Chuvalo's nose. Yet, in his typical display of toughness, when the referee stopped the fight in the third round, Chuvalo said to him, "What are you, nuts?".

  • @atmoi666 WEll his wikipedia and everywhere on the internet says it was broken so I would like to know how you know they are all wrong?

  • @botato2 I'm only going by what Foreman himself has stated in interviews. Also, Chuvalo's nose, ironically, was never broken in a boxing match. He broke it once playing football as a teenager. His nose may have been bleeding or he had a cut lip or something. Apparently he was spitting blood here. It's a fight, though, it happens.

  • @atmoi666 He had already completely busted Chuvalo's nose, he would have been sucking down blood the rest of the fight, trouble breathing, would have been a incredibly slim chance Chuvalo lasted much longer even being the badass he was.

  • @atmoi666 Went longer and harder than this with Ron Lyle and that was them both laying into each other the entire time, no reason he should be any more tired here.

  • @atmoi666 Foreman didn't do any more punching here than any other fight, he may have been tired but he still had 4 solid rounds left. The only reason he only made 8 with Ali is because Ali was punching him back, this was just a massacre, hardly a glove on him. Shit if this is all Foreman could have gone he never would have been a professional.

  • @botato2 Foreman has said in many interviews that he was so exhausted when the fight was stopped. Chuvalo got hit with one good punch that drove him into the ropes and the rest of the punches were blocked. Chuvalo is more of a long-distance fighter too. I think the fight was stopped a bit early. Would have been interesting to see it continue.

  • @MrRoyalFatness He would have had to have lasted for at least 4 more rounds of savage beating before Foreman would be tired enough to make a comeback, Chuvalo didn't seem to know what to do with Foreman this entire fight.

  • @botato2

Not with Chuvalo. Doesn't matter anyway, all I'm saying is that I would have liked to see Chuvalo recover and go for some more.
