This is the Birth of my Chihuahua's 2nd Baby - head first. Mimbsi has giving birth for the first time to 4 healthy Puppys.

@snikkadoodle I agree, people are so dumb. They think just because it is natural it's good - nature also kills you, morons. There is absolutely nothing wrong with getting medical care when needed. So shut up, you dumb people. If you are not a veterinarian - you obviously don't have the background and knowledge to judge.

Wow she was rigorous..... i personally think animals can do a perfectly good job themselves, birthing is a bonding experience....i'd be pissed off if someone was doing that to me when i was having a baby!

@gughoful actually there is very low chance of a dog dieing while giving birth but its possible if there is a serious problem and just because a dog is small doesnt mean they are more likely to die also because there puppies are much smaller then bigger dogs

That scared my when she had to shake the fluid from his lungs! How did he do? Are both the pups alive and well? Beautiful video :)

why just not let her get birth alone, im sure she can do it. no need for helping her with your finger all the time!

There are times when the dog is not strong enough and she needs help,why do you think some female dogs die giving birth,specially small dogs like chihuahuas

@Scastynee -- ya, u gotta love it when uneducated imbeciles decide to try and look smart. I try to keep my nose out of these to avoid drama but in this case, I know that puppy's color was blue and he was gasping so he needed help. had he not gotten it he would have died. As for the mom, her difficulty birthing the pup also needed intervention. Doctors would do the same to a human woman in effort to stretch and lubricate the birth canal rather than having to perform a c-section or episiotomy

SkylRR... She was swinging the puppy upside down to help remove fluid from his lungs cos he was having trouble breathing... gravity and swinging helps. if u dont know what ur talking abt perhaps you shouldnt say anything... its better to keep your mouth shut and look like u dont know anything than to open ur mouth and remove all doubt.
