It's also illegal for you to record the call without telling the person you are talking to that you are recording it. That is why automated systems for customer service tell you that up front - it is required by law for both parties to agree. If you stay on the line with customer service you are agreeing but that doesn't mean that customer service is providing you with permission to record the call. Check FCC regulations!!

Kudos to the representative for not releasing CPNI overthe phone, per FCC regulation and US law. Doing so could have gotten her a 100,000 fine, and that's no exaggeration. Congratulations, you're ripping on a rep for protecting your personal information.
