  • @PorkIsHalal a lot of white people had ragtime player piano rolls which they played in their parlors president mckinley is said to have listened to ragtime

  • @sov6rulz

    Yup.

Ragtime was only played in Red Light Districts for strip dance and only by African Americans. Not to mention the racist mentality of White Americans during that time and its association with strip dancing. It is natural to consider it 'trash' by the mainstream

  • @PorkIsHalal Was it really? I didn't know that...

  • Wonderful post!!! I love such kinda music, a brilliant post!!!

    Cheers:-)

  • Firstly: LMBO AT END!!! LOOOOOOOOL!!

Secondly: this piece was used in an arcade game called "Pino and Aka." If you ever owned the Namco Museum game from Sony, you probably know what I'm talking about. It's a fun game. :)

  • I can't believe this is called Trash Music in their time.

Compare this to Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga now... ummppphh

  • Kind of cool though, Peace

  • Dat's a Dorian redo.
