2009 Race for Hope - DC: Fox 5 News Coverage (full story)

Even with the rain, spirits were not dampened as nearly 10,000 people gathered on Freedom Plaza to join the fight against brain tumors in the 12th annual Race for Hope - DC presented by Cassidy and Pinkard Colliers.

National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure are grateful to all who participated, volunteered, and donated to the 2009 Race for Hope - DC. Together we are building awareness and raising vital funds for research and patient support.

On behalf of all members of the Race for Hope - DC community, we thank the Phelps family and Brett Haber for their participation. We extend a special thanks to David Cook for his enthusiastic and passionate support of the Race.
