26/07/08 one of my mates took me to visit a club which runs model trains at 5 inch and 7 & 1/2 gauge i managed to ride 3 of their engines a 5 inch small prarie a 7 & 1/2 gauge warship (which was fantastic) with GNER coaches and the engine i ride in this film is based on a quarry engine in somewhere about whales when open to the public the ride starts at the station area then round the forest then over the level crossing then the station avoider back to the forest and back into the station
we also see the small prarie and possibly a small blue shunter

This is The Cambridge Model Engineering Society at Fulbrooke Road, off Granchester Road, Cambridge. They run the engines every third Sunday in the month during the summer. It's a lovely place, and they do decent tea and scones, very informally, for families and children.
