  • pirates of the carribbean reference black pearl

  • @phayulperson It's perfect actually, I absolutely love Pirates of the Caribbean ;)

  • @claire0rockz are you sure that oyster produced that black pearl? bcoz black pearl only grows inside pinctada margaritifira and some saltwater species larger than that. all black freshwater and black akoya pearls are dyed.

  • @GIA13615093 That's interesting, I didn't know that. All I know is that there was a bowl of oysters to choose from, and when the man opened mine for the first time, this little black pearl came out. He said it was the first one in weeks.

  • @claire0rockz I'm a pearl expert & a gemologist. That black pearl is very cheap freshwater cultured pearl from China. There are 20 cultured freshwater pearl for every humans on this planet. Next time you see that man tell him he is a scammer. Did you pay anything for that pearl?

  • @GIA13615093 It was at a Renaissance Festival, we were all just having a good time. It was $12, I don't mind

  • Oops, I meant clam on the second sentence after the word "Killing"

  • Black ones are my favorite.. Truth is, they are fake. No offense. My dad told me that they had a clever way of opening a live pearl without killing it. Then they put some kind of sand in it, then owned it until they knew the pearl inside was fully grown.I once saw someone open one and i saw it, it was fake. It was like a bead, two holes on both sides. Real pearls aren't truly round. The Shape? I don't know yet, neither does my dad

  • Very cool! Which area was this at in the TRF? I think I may pay them a visit! :)

  • Someone call Jack.

  • @claire0rockz there's actually a product caled WISH PEARL or LOVE PEARL that costs less than less than $6 and that comes in a special packaging that includes an small freshwater mussel with a mystery7 pearl inside in a small jar with a alcohol liquid then a necklace and pendant cocoon where you can place the pearl that mussel contained. Of course you don't mind for such a little amount but honesty is the best policy and he probably laugh at all the people he duped.
