A video I made for English. I really hope this video helped some people open their eyes and see that the world isn't perfect. Not everyone lives in the same conditions we do, much worse then that.
A Music Video about Racism, Discrimination and War in our society today.

I found this song while I was on camp and I realized how the lyrics of this "soul music" by the Black Eyed Peas actually reflected on our society today. Asians, black people and others are often discriminated and mistreated and places like Africa are still poverty stricken and uneducated.There is cheap labor everywhere in much of Asia, as kids work for the farm at ages as young as 6 and more then a billion people live on less then a dollar a day. That's around 80% of the whole world.
Around the world, 25,000 children die each day due to poverty reasons, and 1.6 billion people don't even have access to things such as electricity.
The world hasn't gotten rid of war yet but it has just taken another form. Much less, the war on Terrorism has just begun. People living in Iraq and the Middle East live in constant fear and poor living conditions and terrorism is still well and truly alive. Just look at the news. It isn't uncommon now when a person gets mugged or someone gets killed. People are just getting greedier and more selfish.
"Where is the Love" hit the charts at #1 instantly and stayed there for a record time. During this period, people changed their attitude, showing a nicer side and respecting each other but unfortunately this was short lived.

The world won't be destroyed with in an adults life time, but what about their kids lifes? Or their kids? Just because we won't live to see the end of the world doesn't mean we need to let the next generation have all our problems"
