This also means all the little substitutions we use!! Don't forget those!! The "innocent" little words that you say with the same anger, malice, wrath, and slander are just as bad as what our society says is bad. It's all in your attitude, If you get hot headed and use a substitute word to let off some steam or attack someone it's just as bad as the word you were substituting!

My opinion about it is to never use swearing to mock, hurt or put anybody down. Other than that I think it's fine. Do I swear on a regular basis? No, but i will not get mad at anyone if they do.

can you please tell me what they are? i guess it depends on how it is used though. if you are talking about a whore in literal context, then its not a sin. But if you call someone a whore in an insult, yes it would be.
