@adamite10 this is a good version but believe me i'm not sure it would help you on any reallity shows. I love and sing this song and i got nowhere on uk's talent show. not even past the first round.Think perhaps i was'nt bad enough as the worse you are the more chance you got of getting onto them. good luck anyway. take a listen to my version and see what i mean.

You've got good range and control. You have a future in music for sure. Go for it! I don't even think the current American Idol contestants would do so well. They're probably too scared to attempt Bono's range. My only contructive criticism is to hold back or perhaps it's relax ?? just a bit so have control left for the falsetto at the ending. Great job. I'm a long time U2 fan in the U.S. Northwest.

Thanks for the advice man. I always thought about the whole UK Idol thing but it has never appealed to me. I know that sounds quite arrogant, but I would prefer to be in my own band as opposed to appearing on a manufactured T.V show. That and the fact that I'd probably make an arse of myself in front of millions just at the audition part lol. I'll try out what you said the next time I go to the studio (y)
