That is going to be my set up very soon on my S&W M&P-15 except in ODG and a Feniz TK12 on the bottom rail. I love that you can put rails where you need them on that hand guard.

@DudeMyNameIsSteve As far as I know, it should be legal for you. I live in Pennsylvania, actually right on the border of Maryland, 10 minutes from the line. Depending on where you live, it might be an issue, for example, if you live in Baltimore it might be an issue. The best option would be to go to a gun shop, or even your local police station, as they would be able to tell, you, but as long as it's not a class 3, you should be ok to buy it at 19. I'm 19 as well, and looking at buy one as well

If anyone knows the gun laws in Maryland, please help me out here. I'm 19 years old, I've already bought a remington 12 gauge. I want to get into competition shooting, so I was really trying to get my hands on an AR15 type rifle. I've heard alot of different things like you gotta be 21 to purchase it. However, I've heard if its an HBAR, its legal for 18 years or older to buy. I need to know if thats true before I get my hopes up. If there is a .22 version that would be great. $ is tight. Thanks.
