Due to Earned Income Tax Credit, a person would actually get money back from the government if they file a tax return. There is the cost of med care for kids. I can see $25,000 per yr covering rent & some food. Other costs would have to be carried by taxpayer programs & charity. Note that if a illegal alien, amnestied or not, using charity, that means there are fewer charitable resources for LEGAL immigrants & U.S. citizens.
