    He was talking about the actors David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow, who are both Jewish, not their characters.

    Adam Sandler meant the actors Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer, not the characters on the TV show.

    And for whatever reason Monica never identified as a Jewish character even though her older brother Ross was. Monica was as gentile as WASPY as they come.
