Celestakwin

From "celestial" (heavenly body) and "takwin" (synthetic life through alchemy), Celestakwin is a creation myth that documents the events leading up to what may be the Big Bang. The narrative is influenced by esoteric physics, western alchemy, Socratic science and science fiction. The imagery comes from photography of natural elements transformed in the studio, highlighting the relationship between the process of the alchemist and the artist. The result visualizes a history of the life before our life, the narrative ending in a compressed singularity teetering on existence like a twinkling star.
