A noob flying a Blade SR

This is after about 25 battery packs, 10 of which I used to do the Radd's Lessons with.  This is the second battery with out the training gear.  There was a good ending, despite the landing not being filmed, my phone stops recording after 2 mins.  So she is still in one piece.

I just followed Radd's school of flight, and stuck with it. I haven't flown my SR in almost two years, it's still the way it was when I bought it, minus a new set of blades. Good luck to you!

I'm doing ok! I went through 2 main gears and 1 set of blades - not bad i guess. I want to learn how to do some 3D stuff, but that's seems to be way down the road. I would love to do a roll or flip. My next trip to the flying field I'll give it a shot. I will make sure i have someone video taping it in case it doesn't turn out so good. It will be good vidoe material. I don't get much flying, but i'm not real shy, so I'll try anything once. Wish me luck - Good luck with your SR...

How do you get it to do that? not even my dad's buddy who flies nitro helis' can do that

@uscoastiee yea, i bought one off of a friend for $100 RTF, and i only had it airborne for maybe 5 seconds when it was just all over the place.... then a blade grip bearing exploded and im grounded till i can get to my hobby shop for some align trex 250 bearings which supposedly hold up much better

@CrazyHeliDude I haven't flown in over a year, bought a fixer upper house and haven't found a new place to fly after moving from west coast to east coast. I'll post a vid of my next attempt, ugly or good!! Good luck to you!!

@sciullo779 it's a totally different beast!! With the SR, just cant just chop the left stick if you get into trouble!! it doesn't handle like the mSR at all. It's more touchy, and responsive. If you follow Radd's lessons you will be fine!! Good luck, and post some videos of how you're doing!!
