Reminds me of George Wharton James "The Grand Canyon of Arizona - How to See It", a travel guide published in the early 1900's. He describes the train ride from Williams, the El Tovar Hotel, and your first view of the canyon. There's something about Grofe's music and canyon videos; it might seem cliche'd to some, but they just go together. I used the "Sunrise" track for the video of my son and my overnight hike to Phantom Ranch last Thanksgiving (2009).

Thank you! This is beautiful.

This is such a neat concept! I grew up listening to this piece on LP length 78s that sounded a lot like this.

Nice vid!

rwellup is correct. When I was little there was a double feature of Sleeping Beauty and The Grand Canyon Suite in its entirety both produced by Disney. The suite was probably the first live, long form video..

@CrowleysGhost
Thank you! Unfortunately there has been a longstanding problem between my computer and my movie-making software.

If you're talking about the Grand Canyon short, it's a bonus feature on the latest Sleeping Beauty DVD ^_^
