"Hey you guys." I say standing in front of Sally, Lola and Ellen the next morning. Lola is here with us, finally away from her boyfriend for a while. It is early morning and we are at school, in front of Ellen's locker.
"Hey." They all reply simultaneously. I smile. It's nice to be finally talking to Lola. She's a different, special person.
"So how's Shane, Lola?" I ask teasing her.
She laughs. "He's really awesome, and cute." She giggles, blushing.
"Of course. Sally, are you going to talk to Drew? I'm pretty sure he likes you!" I exclaim.
"Um . . . I don't know. I'm not sure how to ask him." She says quietly. Right at the moment he is about five meters away from us. We move a little closer, making it not too obvious.
"Go ask him now." We whisper to her and then push her slightly, a little towards Drew, but I guess we push her a little to hard. Sally bumps into Drew and his and her books hit rock hard, all on the floor.
"I'm sorry." We hear Sally say. She is totally blushing. "It's alright." Drew smiles.
They both bend down to pick up their books. Their foreheads bump into each others. The girls and I gush because of their total cuteness.
"Sorry." They both say laughing. They pick up the books and hand it each other. Finally they're up and staring into each others eyes.
"Awe. How cute." I say, focusing on them both.
"Yeah, they look so cute together." Ellen and Lola both squeal.
Of course they did. This is amazing. Now we all have our guys. I never knew life can get this good. The Dilson's and Resist's are still a problem. They are standing a few inches away laughing at Sally and Drew. To our surprise Drew yells at them.
"What are you ladies laughing at?" He asks them bravely. Of course any guy can stand up to them. But no guy ever yells at them because of their beauty, or shall I say covered up in make-up faces.
"We're sorry, Drewy." They say getting closer to Drew. I can see Sally getting angry within every second. She's turning red as a strawberry.
"Don't ever call me Drewy. You have no right. Who the heck are you to me?" Drew yells, turning his back to them, angry of course.
"Whatever, major loser." The Dilson's and Resist's say with some finger movements that look like a 'w', 'm', and then a 'l'. That is so last year! "What . . . okay that was so stupid." Sally finally speaks up. "Everyone knows that's so last year." Sally scoffs, laughing and then everyone else starts to laugh along. Ellen, Lola and I move in closer to the now huge crowd.
"You guys are dumb. Let's get out of here Sally." Drew says pulling Sally away. But before they can go, Andy Witherspoon comes. He was one of the Resist's boyfriend.
"Yo, Wellington. If you're brave enough, come here and let's fight like real men." he says. Oh no this is getting horrible within the minute.
"Stop!" Sally yells. "Don't do this." she says even louder. Drew goes closer to Andy ignoring Sally.
"Sure Andy. Let's fight." He laughs. He's going to get in trouble, worse than that, he's going to get hurt.
Before they go to punch each other Sally pushes Andy to the lockers.
"Stay away from him!" She yells. Drew looks at her and then pulls her into a hug, wiping away her soon-to-be tears. Aw what a romantic moment.
"ANDY!" Kelly Resist yells, running towards him. "Honey bun, you okay?" She asks pulling him into a hug.
"Ugh, what just happened?" I say disgusted at Andy and Kelly.
"You're right. Drew should not get hurt. Let's pull both of them away from there." Lola says.
We all go into the crowd and pull Sally and Drew away, and out of the crowd. "Let's get out of here." I say. Sally and Drew were holding hands on the way out of the crowd. Aww.
I smile as I realize that Sally and Drew finally find out. They finally know that they're both in love.
