  • cool how Paul was part of teh group when the movie was in the works, but he left before the movie was made...kinda sad and cool at the same time

  • hey Thank you so much for this! do you have have the whole interview???

  • I love sclub ! do you have the whole interview?

  • do you have the whole interview???

  • After his dad got 5 years for child molesting of young retarded girls, Paul got the boot from S Club creator/manager Simon Fuller. Later, when the S Clubbers had a meeting with him and demanded more money, Fuller had had enough. The movie Seeing Double was then quickly made with little special effects and a zero budget. The series "Viva S Club" was cancelled after 12 episodes and the S Club was officially disbanded in May of 2003.

  • Cattermole was the first to leave S Club 7, in June 2002, declaring his dislike of pop music and the highly commercialised world of pop in general. After leaving S Club he rejoined his old band Skua (which featured guitarist Stevie K of the Stevie k band). However, with just a few live shows and a brief recording session Skua split up less than a year later.

  • A month after his dad gets 5 years for molesting retarded girls, Paul decides that success, fame, tv shows, platinum records and the upcoming movie were not for him.

He yearned for the good ol' days, where he was broke, unknown and starved in a garage band!

Yep makes a lot of sense, doesn't it?

The truth is simple. S Club manager and creator Simon Fuller let Paul go.You can't market a group to a young audience, when the father of one of the members is doing time for child molestation!!

  • He wasn't fired. He wanted to reform a band he and some friends put together in his school days.

The band wasn't a success though.

  • It was made after Paul left.
