Desi American car mechanic - Hasan Bhai

There are many Pakistani Americans living and working in the USA. The Pakistani American community in the US is represented by a multitude of professions and people from all walks of life participating in this vibrant multicultural society.

Beside Doctors, Lawyers, Business professionals, cab drivers and so forth there is also a small community of Pakistani American Auto Mechanics. This piece profiles the first of the four mechanics that BTH will be profiling throughout the month on Geo TV.

We caught up with Hasan in Alexandria VA, one of the most senior Pakistani American mechanics in DC metro area. He says that living in America has changed his life in so many ways because in the US you get your hard works worth along with dignity and respect.

America jaake sab theek ho jaate hain. Pakistan me to koi apni duty theek se nahi karta. for example Govt hospitals me doctor 1 ghantay me bhag jaate hain. aur private me sirf paise lootne k liye baithe hain :P

Koi yahan mehnat hi nai kata sirf govt ko blame karte hain. agar America ne taraki ki hai to uske logon ki mehnat ki wajah se.
