Anyway, it's speculative at this point but if he does go on to fight any of these guys I would favor him strongly. We'll see. IMO only Fedor, Big Nog, Barnett and Werdum should be favorites against him now, and in two or three years time even THAT might not be the case (depending on how much work he puts into learning jiu-jitsu and striking, and people say his work ethic is tremendous).

You underestimate his striking, too, which needs work but already becoming a serious factor.

His takedown defense is decent but nowhere near where it would need to be to stop a takedown from Lesnar. Not even close. Randy got taken down by Lesnar, I guarantee you Arlovski (who got taken down by Cruz) would too. With Gonzaga, I know his bjj skills but his horrible gas tank and problems when he gets off to a bad start would be the deciding factor.

Learning submission defense is easier than learning submissions, and against AA he'd really only have to prepare well against leglocks.

Couture was coming off impressive wins against Sylvia and Gonzaga, and I don't think his skill level was any worse in this fight or that rust played a major factor.

Overeem has basically one dangerous submission, and that's his guillotine choke which is very good -- but if you think Lesnar's going to lose to anyone by guillotine choke ... sorry, not gonna happen. Other than that, Overeem wouldn't have much to threaten with by way of submission and would clearly lose. Bad style matchup for him

Arlovski's takedown defense is really good, he could do damage on the feet, and he has been doing submissions a lot longer than Lesnar. What a lot of people don't realize is that when Lesnar was fighting Herring he left himself open for a shitload of submissions. Gonzaga is a Mundials champion, he would take care of him, as would any heavyweight with submissions in their arsenal.
