  • i've tried the pigtronix mothership and the micro sytnth (EHX) but i find that whenver i try and hold a note and let it ring on these pedals, the note cuts out after a second or two. Does this do the same, and if not, why>???

  • @MrMaxrodriguez - Analog octavers typically use flip-flop chips that track the note being played. As the note decays, it lets off a bunch of upper-level harmonics that cause the IC to false-trigger since it's not sure which freq to track.

We're reduced this to a large degree on the Great Divide, but if you sustain a note long enough it will eventually false-trigger.

  • @MrMaxrodriguez - One way to reduce/avoid this with any analog octave pedal would be put put a compressor in front of the octave so that it gets a very strong, consistent signal with no decay.....

  • Could you allow more than two presets in the next revision? I imagine the system could be like the one EHX uses for their digitally-controlled devices.

  • @Desmaad - The GD circuit architecture is not like the EHX pedals, which are 100% digital. The Preset on the GD is actually set in an analog fashion using DIP switches, so there's no possibility to add additional presets at this time....

  • What is the guitarist using for an amp?

  • @Desmaad - Just our little Guyatone GA300 combo, nothing special....

Yeah, how dare they make you wait over 2 minutes to hear the effect. The nerve! And it's not like you can skip ahead to get to the playing... right Douchebag?

  • I'm getting one the moment I can find them available!! This plus the new Earthquaker Devices Rainbow Machine... My bass will blow up.
