@Django5198 I know ur comment is 3 weeks old. BUT, there is actually a really great video on youtube where a guy breaks this jam down. It is actually in B aolian (bminor). Bmin and Amaj chords for Bobby w/ B aolian scale for JG. B aolian is Relative minor of Dmaj. Dark star is in Amixolydian which is off Dmaj too. Its neat because he explains how E dorian works too (off of Dmaj as well). See the pattern? Search it out or i will try to post the video link.

does anyone know what kind of guitar jerry is using here? sometimes throughout the song it sounds like it could be a gibson sg and other times it sounds like a strat to me...he started using strats around this time period, but its hard for me to tell.
either way, gotta love that sound.
