wow, looks alot better then i thought it would very nice. i actually tried it on a .22, i let it dry for about a day and a half, it was still plyable (the paint was still wet) so i stripped it off, however, i did leave a small piece painted,,,, i picked it up 3 days later and it was hard as a rock, so im going back and painting it agian. rust-oleum textured paint, color : dark taupe looks sooo good

Tex, I too am a fan of the Marlin 336 and have been following the transformation of yours. I was wondering if you had plans to upgrade the trigger with a Wild West Guns "Trigger Happy Kit" to get rid of the infamous Marlin trigger flop.
