Spook is around 20 years old now. I cherish every day I have with her.

Spook's a lovely old girl. Perhaps they do mellow out with age. My Motorman is the loviest cat I have EVER seen...at 17 he still wants to drape across your shoulders as you go about your business. Perhaps he's just grateful cause life didn't look so hot in the beginning - dropped off with littermates in a car wash and they survived on their own for 6 months - pretty wild when they caught them. Turned out great tho - for both of us! Keep happy.

Kudos to you for giving him a great home! It makes me so angry when I hear of animals being abandoned like that. :(

Yes, it's beyond understanding...I worked at a large humane society for many years - you wouldn't believe the number of people who are out there with no regard for the lives of animals. Subsequently, they have no conscience about the misery they inflict.

Spook wasn't always affectionate like she is now..I think old age has mellowed her out ;)

I'm pretty sure your cats will get more & more lovey as they get older!

My cat pudding ( jet is my brothers and he shows a bit of it.) they just wont show affection to us, acasionly jet will sit on your lap, but its always us strokeing them, but when i go out the front pudding trys to give me kisses, going round my legs but its only to show off. i wish they would show a bit more inside like your spook.
