ニュージーランド、マオリ族の踊りです。ポイという道具を使っての踊りは見ていて楽しいです。主に新人と二年目のダンサーさんが踊ってます。
I insult the culture of the Maori, and they never make a fool.
I dance it at a show every day to show it to the people who cannot go even if I long for the culture of the south island.
I am different from Fra and a Tahitian, and the dance of the Maori does not have a person to teach and, seeing from the various places of the Maori, may be seen funnily.
But they practice hard and I do my best and dance.
Please look with warm eyes.

  • I love it....I love it when my culture is liked enough to be included and performed by another culture.

    I think you have done us proud :-)

  • Lol. Love It!!!! He rawe to koutou mahi mai te timatanga ki te whakamutunga :) You guyz did an awesome job from the beginning to the end. Pay no attention to any negative comments. It's surprising to see other countries finally recognizing my Maori culture and i for one feel honoured. Keep up the great work.

  • Hula = Hawaiian

    Poi = Maori

    get it right, it's like saying Chinese Kimono

  • Oh、 for Pete's sake some of you peeps! These lovely ladies are Japanese. This is a Polynesian Dance Centre in Fukushima (yes, the one afflicted by the nuclear power plant tragedy). Watch the movie 'Hula Girl' and you'll learn all about the history of this place. Amazing movie! 副島 がんばれ!

  • Ka pai ehoa ma, Nice to see our Maori culture being performed with the same grace and love that we see here on this clip, tena koutou

  • I must say for non Maori these wahine did extremely well and I liked their precision. They could work on knowing the songs themselves as that is the beauty of the Maori women when they are dancing. Other than that an overall nice performance
