@StenfieldxCx my mistake but the Betty wanted to kill Big E so if bombs don't work crash into them. he would have missed anyways one Bruno and the gunners were shooting at him and the skipper was trying to turn the ship to starboard (right and due west)

@geomodelrailroader The G4Ms had a 152lb loaded into them and it wasn't a formally or officially a kamikaze run because to the Japanese it was their duty to give up their life for the Emperor and Kamikaze attacks weren't set up until the Battle for the Philippines which i believe was around 1944. From what I've read, a SBD-3's tailgunner uses a M1919A4, which is a .30cal and is not gonna do much to a Betty. Betty missed because the plane was too heavy and hard to control.
