  • Love those new Fords!!!!!!!! As long as I can still get locking hubs with a lever to engage the 4wd, I'll buy FORDS.

  • @Jeffreyrno has to do with traction not power. if there was wheel slip it had no traction somore power would just dig a deeper hole. blame the tires not the engine. put it on a road while towing, what diesels are used for, and then get a decent arguement. i love cummins, and duramax isnt a problem for me. but towing a 4 car trailer very long distances all day 6 days a week for 8 months with a new 6.7l and not a single problem. while my buddies and their cummins and duramax have problms often.

  • I just read the conversation between johndeereboy and ohiobassmaster about three months back...very entertaining.....they are both complete fuckin retards lol

  • BUILT "FORD" TOUGH, NOT by weak and sorry international anymore as in bad experience in the past. This is a totally new truck ! i speak from experience as a Ford Diesel Tech.

  • @farmerallis Your right, but be optimistic when it comes to these new trucks. you dont get anywhere if you dwell on the past, but dont get me wrong, the 7.3 is fords most reliable engine. however this engine is much more advanced in every way, and as long as you give the proper maintenance it requires, im sure this engine will last at least 500,000 miles

  • @ThePantyDroper it is but the 5.4 with a big bore would have been a better truck engine,

  • @ThePantyDroper That sucks about no manual 4x4!

  • @1962Galaxie514ciMPFI 5.0 is a great engine. I don't think a 5.4 is neccessary as people who need more power than the 5.0 will get the ecoboost. I went with 3.7 for fuel economy as I won't ever be towing. It has more than enough power unloaded. I originally went to the dealer expecting to get the ecoboost but after driving the 3.7 I really liked it.

  • @throwingchamp611 Yeah, I know the theory behind it all--but only time will tell if this new Super Duty is a reliable truck.

  • @ThePantyDroper in that case your lucky to have a manual trans case. mines a 2011 xlt 5.0 with the stupid pushbutton. the 3.7 doesnt do it for me, i need a V8. but i wish ford just had made a big bore 5.4l instead of a dumb ass 5.0. which is a big bore 4.6l here.

  • @1962Galaxie514ciMPFI nope. It's a fully loaded XTR (canadian version of the xlt chrome package with a few extras). I have the 3.7 which comes with the manual transfer case.
