Logitech Surround Sound Speakers Z506 - Unboxing !

Man, I gotta do some other videos rather than these unboxings LOL.

Well, as you already know, I am unboxing the Logitech Surround Sound Speakers Z506. This set features a 5.1 channeled surround sound speaker set, consisting of 4 speakers, 1 Center Speaker, and a subwoofer. Works with basically anything (pc, mac, game consoles, tv). In my opinion, it is exactly like a home theatre set, but smaller.

Bought this at Best Buy for 59.99$, if I said Canada's Computers...sorry LOL i'm used to saying that xdd. I got this set on sale at a 50$ discount, original price is 109$

Review: I highly recommend this speaker set not only for its price, but for its quality. The speakers provide an immersive sound around the room it is placed in, and the subwoofer packs a clear, loud, downfiring bass, which is amazing. Only downfall is that, this speaker set doesnt have the control base to set the volume, it is built in on the front right speakers. However, nothing else to say, except that is a great product and that you should consider getting one if you are looking for a surround sound speaker set for your PC/MAC.

how do you hook it up to a xbox and I use hdmi for my xbox 360 slim not component

@theflipguy1 I don't think it will work if you're using HDMI. Unless you're using RCA cable, i don't think there's another way to hook the speakers to the Xbox.

how is the bass, and is quality of sound clear and clean to hear

@DimSimCard the bass is really good actually, delivers 75 watts RMS , which is pretty good and powerful in my opinion. As for the quality of sound, it really depends on the song file itself. If it is a good song file with high quality audio, you can pretty much max out the speakers. If the song is with bad quality, you will get distortion at probably half the volume. Overall, the sound is very clean if what is playing has high quality audio.

@gameboy2895 you will need a TOSLINK to 3.5mm cable. plug it in to the back of your tv and go into settings. Turn off the tv speakers and turn on these.

i use my xbox with hdmi in my room, since the audio and video go through the same cable, how could I use the speaker while using the hdmi? It has optical audio?
