  • He forgets what a gutter is at 00.28 XD

  • I tried my Looj today for the first time. It does NOT work well in the real world. When it encountered small twigs or mud the auger stuck and the body spun around. It could not cut through compacted debris. It is faster to clean the gutters by hand. I am returning my Looj. Too bad because I love our 2 Roombas which work great indoors.

  • on the demo, they used fake lightweight leaves!

  • ....What about gutter fencing? Don't those work? Seems like a more practical choice...

  • Does not work on wet leaves and twigs. Turns itself upside down and quits. Their customer support is horrible. When my remote hung up they suggested I buy another one. What??? Why would I buy a new one when the new one I just received quit working within a day.

  • iRobot never never responded to my requests for help or for an RMA. It is a company with, apparently, no humans. They should call themselved "Skynet." My Looj has never worked well enough to be any benefit whatsoever. It is now a $100 door stop. Notice that in this demo there is only a handful of very dry leaves. In the real world there are damp leaves, twigs and dirt. Looj cannot handle ANY of that. Looj is crap. iRobot has terrible (or no) customer service.

  • Yeah...gotta agree. Especially since you're still got to go through the hassle of getting a ladder out and climbing up to the roof-top to put this thing in...seems like very little time is saved.

  • People trust someone who has been in the business for over 15 yrs ok this thing WILL NOT save you money. What are you gonna do when the battery dies in the gutter????? Lemme guess call I robot to remotely pop it out for you? This thing is a very very lazy and cheap mans gimmick! I would never waste my money on this.

  • I doubt this thing can handle leaves that have been compacted by rain.

  • They said you can put it on 1 foot deep water.

  • Tried that. Even a small twig stops the Loj cold. It is much easier to put on a pair of gloves and clean the gutter by hand. Incidentally, I have been trying to get an RMA from iRobot for almost 3 months and they are totally unresponsive. I am very disappointed with iRobot.
