lol... i had a Mallard hen many years ago that would sit in my lap. i had several drakes too... anyway one time she was in my lap, then she started making a bunch of noise, then all of the sudden PPPPFFFT! I recently found out that birds have no bowel control whatsoever... when they have to go, they go. same with lizards.

aww, Mallards are so cute. Yes, that's true - they just go when they need to go. I had an iguana who would do the same thing. It's fascinating how similar birds and reptiles are in many ways. Sometimes my hens remind me of dinosaurs, slinging around big earthworms like they were giant snakes, hehe.
