The Bamboo pen experience by Wacom is a great way to work on your computer. The cordless, battery-free pen gives you an intuitive way to express yourself when navigating, drawing, painting, editing photos, and writing.

  • hi, wacom bamboo pen and touch,.. is compatiblility with 3d studio max, maya, zbrush, mudbox, photoshop, illustrator, corel draw ?? .. thanx! =)

  • Yes, you will have compatibility with these applications and many more.

The extent of functionality will vary by software, but you've listed many of Wacom's strongest software partners here.

  • Does this only work with MAC computers?!

  • No, the Bamboo works on both Mac and PC computers.

  • WHY SOME DONT HAVE THE BUTTONS? O_O

  • To keep the price point low, we opted to remove the buttons from Bamboo Pen.

  • wacom, it's confusing that you have a Bamboo Pen, Bamboo Touch and Bamboo Pen & Touch. Does the B.Touch not respond to a pen and the B.Pen not respond to touch? Is it more expensive to combine the different technology into one device?

  • yea, for drawing and painting its ok. but try to use that pen as u would a mouse and u start to regret that u ever bought one.

why wacom would try to push such ideas on people i havent got a clue...

  • Can you use a pen with the CTT460 in programmes like illustrator?

  • Can someone answer 78097? He has EXACTLY what I wanna know.

  • @soronefabrik1 I got medium OwO

  • @thebrawlgamerxD yes it will work, and... the bigger the tablet, the easier and better the drawing. nuff said. lol

  • Bamboo. My pen is not working on my tablet, and when I try to open up my properties it won't open.

  • Does the size of the tablet really matter?

Example: If I have a small screen and I have a large or medium tablet, will it still work? Someone Please reply me with the @ thingy.

  • also the cintiq is insanely expensive :P far too much for me :P

  • @PwnedStory ah but im not specifically using it for drawing or sketching. i need it specifically for animation purposes. ive just taken a look at the intuos since people keep saying to me that its like a seperate screen that you draw on, but it isnt a screen?! wacoms sites completely useless though. they try to make it sound fancy and you cant get a word of what its saying. i realised thats the cintiq and apparently there are some major color issues with it. i just want it all in bullet points.

  • @davelikescake1 What I've heard about the Intuos series (at least the Intuos4) is that the pen nibs wear down faster and it's very easy to scratch.

I don't know if you know this, but most every tablet from Wacom include some drawing or drafting programs with it.

I'm also looking in the market for a tablet too, so I'm doing as much research and reading as I can on which one is the best to buy. The Bamboo series seem to offer the best results for a low amount of cost.
