My 16mo old has been watching this for a couple of months and he loves it! Its great when you need to clean house or take a shower. very entertaining!

I have let all three of my children watch baby Einstein and you people that think its crap or us being bad parents well I say to you go F@%# YOURSELF! I put it on so I can take a TEN minute show or when I have to cook dinner that DOES NOT make us bad parents and DOES NOT mean we dont teach OUR children ourselves! and who the HELL are you to judge!?

I STARTED SIGNING TO MY DAUGHTER AT 2 MONTHS VERY BASIC SIGNS INCLUDING THE ABCS NOW IT CALMS HER DOWN. SHE IS SEVEN MONTHS AND I THINK UNDERSTANDS ME DOING IT YOUR SELF IS BETTER THAN JUST SHOWING VIDEOS. WE DO BOOKS READING DVDS AND THEN I SIGN TO HER TOO

Another way to know if your child is ready to learn signs is observing them and if you notice that they seem interested in their own hands, they move them and laugh and look at them, etc. then means that you can start teaching them and they will learn without problems since it will be like a game for them.

Children of less than a year old shouldnt watch tv at all, this is recommended by all pediatricians and psychologists. All Baby Einstein vids are made for children over 1 year old. The correct way to teach signs to a baby under 1 year old is through songs and flashcards. The ideal months should be between 6-8 months but they can start as early as 4 months, tho it can be very frustrating since most children dont respond.

@jaydaddy303 ugh just so u know i dont have her watching this all day. did i say i have her watching this all day NO. I talk to my child . I play games with my child. I would say my child is more ahead then most one year olds. So before you comment on other people stuff make sure you know something about them. and hy are you on this vid ? are you watching it or letting your child watch it. looks like im not the only one on this vid.

@lifecandy1... its not helping that you post your kid up in front of anything.. direct stimulation helps.. get off your butt and be a mom... or dont add to the ever growing stupidity that one day will drown the masses... take your kid outside instead of watching tv! when the zombies come tv skills wont help em
