MY POOR ANGSTY OTP. LET'S HOPE THEY GET THEIR HAPPY ENDING AT CHRISTMAS.

(...which means Mary cannot marry Carlisle in July as they planned. Or if she does, we better settle in for another awesome season of angst. Which I wouldn't hate. Though I'd much prefer a happy ending on Christmas!)

One line that I don't get is when Lavinia and Matthew agree that she would have taken better care of him than Mary. But Mary, who's not a nurse or anything, looked after him in the hospital and pushed him around the estate a lot, whereas Lavinia sat beside him crying in the hospital and started to push him once, but then let Bates take over. Don't get me wrong, I like Lavinia and think she's sweet and all, but Mary has taken much better care of him than she has.

The most romantic part was Mary watching Matthew from the stairs. That is beautiful

I really wanted to hate Lavinia but I could never muster up any bad feelings towards her she was too good, too sweet-I don't think even Mary ever disliked her. Poor thing :(

thanks for uploading. just saw the ep tonight and I needed to see that Mathew/Mary kiss scene again! I was watching their heads get closer and hoped they'd kiss and they did! Lavinia is very sweet though and so selfless.

@anemone2397 they show more of that of course, we are more interested on matthew-mary relationship thn matthew-lavinia, of course they will show more of mary than lavinia, but i think lavinia is shown as a caring person (characters tell that), it's the only thing she has because she knows matthew loves mary and not her, but she still wants him so it's kinda a excuse for her to feel better, and of course matthew wants to convince himself that he has to make his live with lavinia

I love how Matthew says that he wishes he could get rid of this damn stick so he can walk up the aisle unassisted but later tells Mary "you are my stick". Hmmmn, does that mean he's trying to get rid of thoughts of Mary? Ah Matthew, you might want to rethink your marriage to Lavinia.
