love this piece and I'm working on it now. You did a good job learning the notes, now put some heart and soul into the music....to me it seems you're just playing notes and not music...but good job learning it

make music, dont just play whats on the page. you can play most of the notes.. great.. but do something with them

A few rough spots, but it will improve. Just take time to enjoy what you are doing. My son performed this piece at the end of ninth grade and was so burned out afterwords he hasn't touched a marimba since.

It sounds nice, it'd be great if you focus more on times with your rolls, tempo's varying too much between sections, more expressions through the middle section (it says expressivo on the score), and it'd sound great when you learn the ending properly too! -maybe try different mallets? Encore blues, Abe greens sound nice with this piece from my experience........! well done!
