@rosakop1 You can walk around the ground level, I think, but everything above that is locked.

@sidneyleung1 The whole place appears to be empty now.
For a while, it remained publicly accessible, and you could visit the upper floors which had some amazing views of the skyline. However, it's now been locked, so you can't even do that anymore.
I guess they will demolish the estate at some point. Not sure when though. Financial problems have delayed the redevelopment.

does anyone know if Heygate still have residents living in it? i'm a photography student and liked to do a project on this place which i'd like to ask a few questions on any resident who once lived or still living in Heygate or part of this 'slum' resident. Thanks :)
