  • Thanks for this eight minutes of fun, I live in Andalucia in the south of Spain an we have sunny roads like that beside the sea, I have a BMW R1200R too, and my dream is ride with my bike all along the USA, specially California, so watching the video you make me dream. Thanks again for sharing it. I'm waiting for a new one

  • Thanks so much for the nice comments. How fun, we dream to ride over in Norway, the Alps and the Mediterranean!! Wow, amazing what a BMW moto can do to change your life :)

    Take Care, Ride Safe.

  • hey, great vid! music is kickin too :D jw what are your thoughts on a 6 1/2ft person riding on one of those.. I really need to get my bike license and check out this and the f800gs to see which would be a better fit.. both would make me one happy man though :D

  • I am not tall but Long legs Shouldn't be a problem!! BMW are for tall people. Both Bikes are great machines. r1200r is pure street. If you think you might want to do some off road or just trails the f bikes are awesome and do well on street too. True Dual sport.

  • Great video, thanks for sharing it. I have a R1200GS and absolutely love it, but if I ever get the chance to purchase a second bike, it would definitely be the R1200R.

  • Thanks!! We just visited with a couple in the middle of Baja, MX riding a R1200GS. I lost a bet to my Husband. I swore when they went by it was a F1200GS. They were on their 4th trip. They love it. But for street riding the R1200r is the bike. Its awesome. We've had some great fun.

  • I just bought a 2012 R1200R and I'm a 5/5 female rider. I have the low seat as well as the Airhawk2 air cushion. Bike rides like butter. Thanks for the awesome shots of the CA coast. I hope some day I can tour. This bike rocks!

  • Nice video, musik nice to, and offcourse the bike,, BUT what about the sound of the boxer, I miss that at lot..

Try again , and take a trip to europe, like Denmark and you will se a nice place, and we can se the bike, wich is verry expansive in our country due to +180 % tax..

Se you one the road, on my old bike,,with sound..from the engine..

  • next video no music please, i prefer the engine sound ,-D

  • Great choice, I´ve never been in Norway, but The Mediterranean is beautiful, and I'm going this summer to the Alps, a wonderfull place for the R1200R. Sure you'll enjoy a lot. Manolo

  • I have ridden r1200r and yamaha fz6, I can tell you that, even if the r1200r is heavier the feeling is better. More torque give you a great power sensation, good acceleration, this kind of two cylinder bikes gives A LOT of sensations. But you'll lose a bit the top end of your sport bike...
