Jeremy Brett should have gotten Oscars. Is Holmes is still the greatest one, every picture him when there think of Holmes. So sad that his no longer with use, hopeful his acting as Sherlock Holmes should get some Oscars NOW. It's only fair.

... EH comes across as very humble about his contribution, which was perfectly and sensitively dove-tailed - in his performances he always seems to convey our (the viewers') genuine admiration, affection and joy for JB's Holmes and most evidently, from his working relationship, personally for the actor also, which is lovely for us to hear too. Good friends and jolly good company. I will treasure their joy all my life - along with generations of fans to come.

Does anybody know the location of the 'Hound Of The Baskervilles' house mentioned by Hardwicke in this interview? I'm from Staffordshire but I don't recognise it. I'd love to visit there!

The very great, and now unfortunately LATE, Edward Hardwicke. Rest in Peace. Thank you for your work.

This is just lovely & a pleasure for a Holmes fan.
I have to say that David Burke is also my favourite Watson, but you uploading this interview made Edward Hardwicke all the more likeable to me.
No, the newest one. It's on the very last disk of "Sherlock Holmes: The Complete Granada Television Series", to be specific.

Hi i have looked at my dvd's and there are no extras on it . Is it hidden on it? thank you for answering my questions

Hmm...it's not hidden. My last disk has "The Red Circle", "The Mazarin Stone", "The Cardboard Box", and lastly Special Features, which is what the interview falls under. I guess we have different versions?

Hi , Yes we must have different versions of the dvd box set. My dvd is the new one released last year. I am sad there are no extras on it but thank you for putting the extras for me to see.

this is a brilliant insight into the holmes series. Where is this interveiw from?

It's a short documentary from a BBC talk show called "Daytime Live" from 2003. It was in the special features of one of my DVDs.
