  • so can you use that software plugin with a regularMIDII controller?

  • @underrealm thanks bro, I will check it out !

  • @twoodyatwood - If it were me, I would go with the original microKorg. The microSTATION is, in my opinion, too complex of a machine for efficient live use. I think it is best suited for producers and studio musicians. Mine never leaves my desk, yet I take my microKorg everywhere.

So yeah, def go with the MK. The XL is alright, and if you're sold on it already then by all means go for it, but consider the original. It seems like it would be a better fit for a punk band. good luck!

  • Hi I'm in a POP punk band,

At the moment I use a Korg X50, and a kaossilator pro.

Would you reccomend this or the microkorg XL as an addition ??

    Anyone help ?

  • this might sound dumb but.... do you need some sort of speaker for this? because of the stereo output at 2:02

  • This is a tremendous keyboard if you "accept it" as a table top synth with a virtual keyboard attached. Use it as a MIDI slaved 120 voice module with a sequencer and the problem with the mini keys goes away. It's the ideal second keyboard; price, sound, portability and capability can not be beat. Great demo video. Yes! I agree with above comment. Teasing us with that Jupiter 6 laying dormant on the wall. Have mercy. It's practically porno for gear sluts.

  • @notsert123 Fools on youtube always say you should get something other than Korg. Don't listen to those stupid jerk-offs. M-audio? Korg's synth history is one of the top most accomplished there are. M-audio stands no chance in tech experience or know-how. They may make some midi keboards.

  • @alexfrbc I love the feel of the keys on the Microsampler, so if these are the same, thats great imo.

  • Nice review as usual, from Sonic State :) . But If it hasnt been mentioned before, it is possible to go down a few octaves down/up. You just go to global parameters-transpose and voila!! :) Its not very fun to do as it would if there was a switch, but its nice nonetheless.

  • can you use these types of synths with logic and aleton ? or do they just act as midi controllers then ?
