During the coverage of the Nebraska primary results, Rachel Maddow restores some sanity to the conversation and smacks down Pat Buchanan's ridiculous talking points about who Hillary and Obama's voters are. Maddow also takes the Clinton campaign to task for blaming her causus losses on her voters being kept away. I agree with Maddow that the argument doesn't hold much water.

  • Why does such a vile racist like Buchanan stay with such a great network like MSNBC.

  • They've both won 9 primaries - but obama leads the caucuses 10-1. Rachel Maddow really has it right - and its obama who is winning all the red states - and bringing record turn outs to them. Also its well known that more clinton supporters would support an obama presidency than obama supporters supporting a clinton presidency. The polls, that have hillary breaking even with mccain, while obama has a 7% lead. Not sure why buchanan is trying to market hillary as the more electable of the two

  • Ata boy PAT...youre great

  • @spiritualgunfighter because he fits in with a lot of them......

  • The thing Rachel Maddow could smack down is her lesbian lovers butt cheeks, and still she couldn't do that very well. Her lover would be saying, "harder!, harder! .. Rach, you have to smack harder! you're not doing it right dammit!"

    Pat is the Man!

  • lol dolt

  • well you all got O'bomba elected enjoy us all going broke now !

  • pat buchanan is retarded i hate seeing him on msnbc.

  • Yes yes, I know Pat Buchanan is one of the fathers of the Southern Strategy and his stance on some issues is stunning (in a bad way). He is a divisive person and he knows it and thrives on it, as Rachel has said. However, there is just something that I actually do like about the guy. I mean come on, even he says Al Gore won Florida in 2000 (bc many ppl [ like my aunt] in Palm Beach almost/or did vote for him instead of Al Gore). Maddow, however, is the truly best thing to happen to journalism.

  • He isn't very reasoned, Pat is a paleoconservative who sometimes seems reasoned because his views were so out of line with the neo cons. He came out against the war pretty early and has never been known as an imperialist. I love Rachel too she is smart, funny and the best interviewer on cable news hands down. I love her too.

  • I like Pat the best when he tells the old war stories, he has seen a lot as a political warhorse. What i dont like is his politics and his divisiveness. Pat is pretty much responsible for the "southern strategy" that won Nixon the south in 72 through racial divisive means. He is contemptable, but at the same time his laugh and personality are nice.

  • I am a total liberal, but I love Pat Buchanan. I don't know what it is, I just like watching the guy. (Of course, I don't like 90% of what he stands for). For some reason, he seems like a reasoned conservative who knows both sides of the spectrum and how to cater to each side. But I do Love Rachel Maddow. She is my idol.
