Does anybody know what the music is when the robots come into the arena? Thanks.

@TechnoJosh1 That's because it is Heavy Metal Noise!

@fangorn Is it just me have they not only got rid of the flame grills and jets, but also Sgt Bash's flamethrower?

just think of all the great destructive and powerful robots in the real Robot Wars like Razer, Hypno Disc, Terrorhurtz, Chaos 2, Firestorm, Tornado, Dominator 2, X-Terminator, Storm 2 and Typhoon 2 among others, and then you get these things...
and little kids are in charge of the teams? and no fire? no "rough" language allowed? Sir Killalots name was changed? why? just why?

he looks like harry potter!!!

Personally, I think The PieceMaker looks like the lovechild of Heavy Metal Noise and a Tape Deck.

Sgt. Bash and Sir K. are badass

This series was filmed in London in Jan. 2002 for distribution to the US only. Nickelodeon aired these shows in the summer of 2002 on American TV.
The target audience was kids- so they changed the name of Sir Killalot to Sir K !! Kinda silly, really.

Even more silly by the fact that they didn't change Dead Metal's name either. That's just unfair on the big guy (Sir Killalot), especially as "Dead Metal" isn't that kid friendly either. Mind you, D-Metal or D-M wouldn't sound right.

They also removed the Flame Grate, and did not allow any "rough" language during the interviews. My son said "I screwed up" and they made him re-do it and say "I messed up" ! We both still laugh over that one.
